Meet the Board

GREG BEADLES — Founder — ex officio
Greg and his wife Jill have four children, all of whom have attended Oak Hill. The Beadles co-founded Oak Hill in 2006. A graduate of Louisiana State University and Georgia State University, Greg serves as President of the Atlanta Falcons. The Beadles are members of Restoration Presbyterian Church, where Greg serves as an elder.

 

DEREK MONJURE — Founder
One of Oak Hill’s founding families, Derek and Christy have five children, all of whom were Oak Hill students. Their eldest was a member of Oak Hill’s inaugural graduating class of 2017 and their daughter was a member of the 2020 graduating class. Derek graduated from the University of New Orleans and Jacksonville State University. He serves as the director of advancement for New Saint Andrews College. The Monjures are members of Christ Church.

 

SCOTT KNUTESON (CHAIRMAN)
Scott, his wife Ruth (Oak Hill’s operations coordinator), and their four children joined the Oak Hill family in 2016, and are members of Antioch Church in Hoschton. After public affairs civil service for the U.S. Air Force, Scott helped start a Federally Qualified Health Center in Vegas; directed communications for a U.S. Congressman; and provided PR and crisis strategy for global faith-based organizations and leaders through the PR agency DeMoss. He now serves as strategic communications director for Send Relief, an international compassion ministry.

 

KEN RUCKER (VICE CHAIRMAN)
Ken and his wife Susan (1st grade teacher and Director of Early Education for Oak Hill) have four sons, the two youngest of whom attended Oak Hill. Ken did his undergraduate work at Georgia Tech and his graduate seminary work at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He is the Senior Pastor of New Branch Community Church in Dacula, GA.

 

ALEX QUILIS (TREASURER)
Alex and his wife Lisa have two girls, Kensley and Kate, who attend Oak Hill. Alex graduated from the College of Charleston in South Carolina with his B.S. Degree in Biology while also playing on the Men’s Tennis Team. Alex opened a State Farm agency in Lawrenceville, GA in 2016. The Quilis family are members at Emmaus Church in Buford.

 

MATTHEW SHARP (SECRETARY)
Matt and his wife Connie have three children who each attend Oak Hill. Matt graduated from Lee University and Vanderbilt University Law School. He serves as senior counsel with Alliance Defending Freedom, where he is the director of the Center for Legislative Advocacy and focuses on state and local legislative matters. The Sharps are members of Buford Church of God, where they co-lead the Families Ministry.

 

BRANDON LAMARQUE
Brandon, his wife Holli (who substitute teaches), and their four children joined the Oak Hill family in 2017. Brandon is the local Chick-fil-A Operator in Braselton. He received his Marketing Degree and Masters in Business Degree from Auburn University in Montgomery. Their family are members of Ivy Creek Baptist Church in Buford, where Brandon serves in a variety of leadership roles.
