Financial Aid

Education is perhaps the most important investment parents will make in their children. Christian parents are exhorted in both Deuteronomy 6 and Ephesians 6 on the importance of raising our children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord and ensuring they are taught the precepts of God diligently. There is of course no “silver bullet” methodology or approach for following this biblical guidance, but a Christian classical education has served the Church well over its history by ordering students’ hearts, minds and hands to that which is true, good and beautiful, and thus preparing them well for service in all aspects of God’s Kingdom.

We strive at Oak Hill to balance the difficult task of offering this excellent education at an economic level that is attainable by all. This means working hard to keep our tuition rates competitive with other area private schools and for our financial assistance decisions to be both thoughtful and generous.

We partner with two organizations to assist us and our families in the financial aid process:

Arete Scholars Fund
Arete exists to help under-resourced children reach their highest potential through educational opportunity. Through private contributions from corporate and philanthropic partners, Arete awards need-based K-12 scholarships and empowers parents to place their children in schools that best suit their unique gifts and learning needs. Since 2010, Arete’s partners have provided more than $50 million in aid to students across Georgia and Louisiana.

Several Oak Hill families receive Arete scholarships each year of $4,000 per student based on financial need. Arete begins reviewing new applications from deserving families in February or March each year. More info: AreteScholars.org

TADS
Oak Hill will again partner with TADS to assist us in assessing financial need and responsibly awarding aid from our annual budget to ensure we may provide assistance to as many students as possible.
